Overview
Laveen Storage combines single-story storage buildings with a climate-controlled component. The source brief describes three single-story buildings and an 82,000-square-foot climate-controlled building, but the total square footage needs clarification.
The Challenge
County review was difficult despite zoning that allowed self-storage, and an irrigation pipe crossed the site.
Our Approach
RAD tested several layouts with the owner, seeking to maximize the storage program while avoiding the irrigation line and responding to county requirements.
