Overview
Studios on Gordon is a three-story, 30-unit apartment building in Layton. The project called for a residential program on a site whose usable area changed significantly during design.
The Challenge
After the property was purchased, the team discovered that a previous road expansion reduced the available site area by approximately 20 feet compared with the boundary information initially provided.
Our Approach
RAD reworked the site and building configuration around the smaller footprint, developing an apartment design responsive to the revised constraints.
